BASIS AND TYPES OF ESTABLISHMENT OF MATERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF MILITARY SERVANTS

The article examines the concept and nature of material liability as a method of compensation for material damage to state property, military property by servicemen. The grounds for the emergence of material liability of servicemen, their relationship and differences with other types of liability are described. The article also examines our national legislation and case law, and the author makes suggestions for improving the legislation.
