Abstract

All systems of our body are closely interconnected. The endocrine system directly affects the formation, development and functioning of the dental system. There is a close relationship between endocrine disorders and diseases of the oral cavity. Clinical signs of dysfunction of the endocrine glands are often among the first to appear in the oral cavity. Knowledge of the clinical symptoms, features of the course of diseases of internal secretion in the oral cavity will allow timely diagnosis of the disease and, therefore, prevent the development of many complications: generalized periodontitis, caries, osteoporosis of bone tissue and other diseases that affect the quality of the dental system.
