ZOOSYMBOL "BEAR" IN THE LANGUAGE PICTURE OF THE WORLD OF KOREANS (ON THE MATERIALS OF PROVERBS)

This scientific article analyzes such concept as "proverb". The article also informs that in the linguistic picture of the world of each individual nation, proverbs and sayings occupy a special place, which are a storehouse of the wisdom of the nation, its history, culture and centuries-old experience. Symbols (concepts) found in proverbs have both positive and negative connotations, and are strengthened in the picture of the world of a particular nation. Through such symbols, it seems possible to better understand the culture of a particular people. In addition, the article provides examples of the use of zoo symbol "bear" in Korean proverbs and their semantic meanings.
