Abstract

Over the years, there have been a lot of changes in every sphere and the educational world is no exception to this: English for religious studies is a prime example. In fact, it can be discussed that over the last 20 years, English classes have become more focused on improving four skills. However, there are some majors that demand specific knowledge, as they are considered to be taught at the “local” level. Specific Vocabulary, religious register, Islamic language are the most priority to conduct these above-mentioned lessons. The language is here as a tool to understand the sources which are given in a foreign language, EFL teachers are the instructors who direct the student to better understanding. Moreover, prior knowledge of English teachers plays a vital role, as making a mistake or giving wrong information seems to be easy. In the following article, the ways of conducting English classes for religious studies will be discussed.
