PRIORITY CONTOURS OF ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY OF UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

The ongoing reforms are placing significant emphasis as the priority areas as a whole on sustainable development of Uzbekistan, high quality of life and health of the population, environmental safety, as well as national security in general. A special role is assigned to environmental legislation as a link between many fields, which provides legal regulation of relations in the economy, environmental protection and environmental management. There is a necessity to develop a Strategy for Ensuring the Country’s Environmental Safety, aimed at identifying and suppressing environmental threats and challenges that can lead to serious damage to the state, society and the individual.
