COGNITIVE ANALYSIS OF PHRASEOLOGICAL INTENSIFICATORS IN POLITICAL DISCOURSE

The present paper reports on a cognitive aspect of phraseological intensificators used in political discourse. The author shows that the phraseological intensificators of political discourse could not be discussed without any contribution to the extra-linguistic context. Moreover, the author compares phraseological intensificators of English, Russian, and Uzbek languages. There are corresponding, non-corresponding, and partially corresponding phraseological intensificators in the compared languages. During the analysis 6 types of phraseological intensificators are distinguished in accordance to the basis of intensification.
