Comparing Uzbek proverbs and English proverbs in literary

The article analyzes proverbs as a kind of folk oral creation, in which a short epigrammatic statement is expressed concisely and imaginatively characterizes the way of life of the people. In the process of studying proverbs, we come across a lot of similarities with their phraseological units, because their lexical and grammatical components that shows traditional and figurative meanings.
