THE IMPACT OF THE VALUE CREATION MODEL ON INVESTING IN THE INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL OF THE ENTERPRISE

In modern management theory, intellectual capital is regarded as one of the key sources of a company's competitive advantage; it includes formalized knowledge and human capital that formthe consumer value of companies in the long term. The authors of this article investigate a significant factor that determines the strategy of investing in intellectual capital in order to support effective management decisions - this is a value creation model. Theoretical analysis has shown that the organization's value creation model can have a significant impact on the processes of attracting financial and organizational resources to intellectual capital, defining supporting, transforming or network strategies. Management practitioners can use the results when planning investment programs and analyzing promising areas for investing financial resources.
