The article provides a scientific analysis of the emergence, development and prospects for the development of the phenomenon of civil society. In particular, trends in supporting civil society institutions and volunteering in Uzbekistan were identified. The role of non-governmental non-governmental organizations in reforming the life of society and the state has been scientifically studied.
